Camp Merryelande on St. George Island, Maryland has fantastic beach cottages for relaxing family vacations. Our beach cottages overlook the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay, and have modern kitchens, baths, air conditioning, satellite TV and clean gas or electric fireplaces. Each has a charcoal grill and picnic table near the patio. The fishing pier is in the center. Fun family activities include fishing, crabbing, swimming, kayaking, biking and volleyball during the day. The activities lead to engaging conversations with your children at night while cooking out within view of the river or lighting a campfire on the beach. We are only a two-hour drive from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD for convenient weekend getaways! For economy and safety, only pre-approved pets are allowed, and guests must bring their own bed linens.
